Foot trip on the Onekotan island
10 days tour on the Onekotan island.
Program:
- Day 1 — arrival in Severo-Kuril’sk, reception of products, equipments.
Refueling of the helicopter, flight to Onekotan;
- Day 2 — transition to a ridge Ring;
- Day 3 — excursion on lake Ring (height above sea level 400 m, depth – 200 m),
taking place in caldera of vlk. Krenitsina, a ferry on peak Krenitsina located in the middle of the lake
towering above a surface of a lake on 900 m. General height of peak 1327 m above sea level;
- Day 4 — descent in base camp in a mouth of the river Fontanka;
- Day 5 — transition to Black lake;
- Day 6 — fishing on lake (trout in size 30-40 cm);
- Days 7–9 — extra days on a case of force-major circumstances;
- Day 10 — returning in Severo-Kuril’sk and flying away to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky.
