4 days helicopter tour on the Shumshu and Paramushir islands.
- Day 1 — arrival in Severo-Kuril’sk.
Reception of the products, equipment. Refueling of the helicopter.
Flight to Shumshu in settlement Bajkovo (former Japanese
marine base Kataoka). Excursion with visiting of the
Japanese monuments and on the Japanese air station of
the period of the second world war. In air station tourists
will see well kept runways, hangars, fragments of the
Japanese, American and Soviet planes. Visiting of the
Japanese underground point of communication. Flight
to a place of landing of the Kuril landing to deserted
Soviet bataree coastal defense of the end of the fortieth
(well kept artillery — B 13, underground transitions,
casemates), to places of bases fights for islands Shumshu
(height 171, 165 on which there are padded Japanese
tanks and armored troop-carriers, and also artillery
piece and fortification constructions). Overnight in
area of cape Chakonchi (visiting of a rookery of sea
mammals: kalans and seals).
- Day 2 — flight in bay Krasheninnikova
(a southern extremity of island Paramushir). Whales
come into bay in summertime (that is why the Japanese
name of the bay — Kudirahama — Whale bay). There are
rests of the Japanese settlement in a bay. From a coast
opens magnificent view on active volcanoes Fussa, Chikurachki,
Karpinskogo, Tatarinova. River Krasheninnikova is famous
for wonderful fishing.
- Day 3 — flight to volcanoes Fussa,
Chikurachki, a dead wood in a valley of the river Tuharka.
The valley of r. Tuharki is an ancestral lands of the
present owners of island — bears.
Overnight at Verhnejur’evskih hot springs.
- Day 4 —
flight to Severo-Kuril’sk with landing on vlk.
Ebeko (height 1156 m, three craters, the set of fumarole
fields, on one of which is the largest in Russia fumarole
Bolshaya is situated). Flight to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky.
